The film's performance has been particularly strong in Northern circuits, with East Punjab setting a new single-day record, and Rajasthan following closely behind Pushpa 2. Delhi-UP came in third, just after Jawan and Pushpa 2.
The Mumbai circuit, which had a slow start on the first day, quickly caught up and surpassed Delhi-UP over the weekend. Both Gujarat and Maharashtra circuits made significant gains, and the overall collections saw a substantial jump on Sunday. Despite some initial concerns, the film's performance has been largely organic, with no signs of bulk bookings, except for a few shows for the armed forces, which are spread across the country.
The film's momentum is expected to continue, especially on Republic Day, which is predicted to be another massive day at the box office, potentially surpassing Sunday's collections. The Tuesday and Wednesday holds will determine the film's ultimate success, but for now, it's safe to say that Border 2 is a SUPER HIT. With its stellar performance and record-breaking numbers, the film is on track to surpass Rs. 500 crore nett, possibly even reaching Rs. 600 crore, solidifying its place as a blockbuster in the Hindi film industry.
